With over 75 years of collective industry experience our team is made up of ‘in-the-know’ professionals who have the combined skills to cover every element of your event.

 

We all come from a variety of backgrounds with different experiences and ideas which allows us to be creative on every project.

 

We work on a variety of corporate event projects for a wide range of clients and ensure we share our experiences – good and bad – to guarantee we’re constantly learning from one another and developing both individually and as a team.

Mel

Our Founder and MD, Mel (aka, ‘Dad’) steers the good ship “Ex Events”, ensuring everything is running smoothly and is always on the lookout for new opportunities. Having staged thousands of events throughout the UK and Europe, Mel’s experience is invaluable. When he takes his events hat off you’ll find him walking his dog through Richmond Park, cheering on the Hammers or coaching his twins boys football team.

David

David, also affectionately known as ‘DT’, ‘Tails’, ‘Ten Pin Taylor’, is our Director of Sales. With a passion for hosting corporate parties, conferences and private events, David’s knowledge and relationships within the events industry are what make him tick. When not at his desk or on site, David is pacing the fairways of a golf course or playing in the garden with his kids – being that ever so proud Dad.

James

James is Ex’s resident Project Director & relishes bringing the team together to deliver complex logistical events with a bit of added flair. Overseeing campaigns across the medical, financial, charity & media sectors – incorporating conferences, exhibitions and brand activations – he’s never too far from a spreadsheet. When not burning the midnight oil in the office you’ll often find him snowboarding anywhere he can find snow.

Olivia

Having worked in both venue and agency sales, Olivia (also known as Liv) brings exceptional industry knowledge and a real passion for achieving the very best results for her clients to her role as a Senior Account Manager. Olivia enjoys working on all different types of events but absolutley loves Christmas and has a festive eye that helps to truly bring events to life. Outside of working hours, you’ll either find her down the gym, watching a good Netflix show or at a trendy new bar with a cold glass of Prosecco (and/or a fancy scotch egg!).

Jasmine

With previous ‘agency life’ experience firing her passion for the events industry, Jasmine loves nothing more than seeing a clients project through the entire event cycle; from inception all the way to onsite delivery. When she’s not out expanding her events horizons checking out the newest venues, Jasmine will most likely be found on the hockey or cricket pitch (playing at regional and county level no less!) … unless there’s a good festival on of course.

Steph

Steph is Ex Events’ Sales and Events Manager and has a wealth of experience across the corporate events sector taking on everything from bespoke networking and thought leadership conferences to large scale trade shows and celebration events. She thrives on seeing the hard work that goes on behind the scenes all come to fruition in the live event space and loves nothing more than pushing beyond expectations to leave clients really feeling the ‘WOW’ factor. A self confessed foodie, Steph keeps her finger on the pulse and loves being amongst the first in line at new venue openings around London.

Shannon

Sales and Marketing Events Executive Shannon brings a welcome dose of creative theatricality into her events approach and thrives on delivering exceptional event experiences that forge long lasting memories. She relishes building strong, trusted relationships with clients and suppliers alike and, forearmed with a plan (and a backup plan or two), she takes the opportunity to get onsite whenever she can. Outside of work you’ll likely find her training for her next big challenge (a London-Half Marathon is currently in the scopes!) or you might just find her keeping up her musical theatre background, filming on set somewhere glamorous.

Freja

Account and Marketing Executive Freja has a keen eye for detail, an Excel sheet for everything and a real passion for uniting stakeholders to bring complex logistical plans together. Freja cut her event teeth delivering large-scale high-end experiences together for the most discerning of clients. She thrives in the pressured on-site environment, leaning into her high levels of organisation, relationship management skills, and pro-active problem solving abilities to ensure she always finds the right solution and delivers fantastic event experiences. Outside of working hours you’ll likely find her unearthing amazing venue finds or discovering the newest and best breakfast spots London has to offer.
