Ex Events In late April, Ex Events had the pleasure of hosting an inbound incentive group of over 200 delegates for a 4 day programme taking in the best of what London has to offer. Following months of meticulous planning delegates arrived from a number of locations across the globe into different terminals and airport locations. The Ex Events team were on hand to carefully manage arrivals and ensure that the relevant onward logistics were tightly co-ordinated so that delegates quickly reached their hotel without stress.
After a warm welcome to Le Meridien Hotel at the heart of Piccadilly the party embarked on a fun filled program of events carefully constructed in line with the clients brief to showcase London’s cultural significance, its rich history and its vitally its vibrant atmosphere.Highlights from a breathless few days in the Uk included:
– Tours in vintage double-decker Routemaster Buses
– A drinks reception at The Spice Market
– Meetings and visit to the historic Holborn Bars
– A sensational 2 hour boat cruise down the Thames on the Dixie Queen (including the spectacular site of Tower Bridge being raised just for them).
– A gala awards dinner at the beautiful Drapers Hall (once owned by Henry VIII)
with entertainment from a host of international artists.
– A much-coveted off-site excursion to Bicester Shopping Village
– A breath taking sky-walk over the iconic O2 Arena in GreenwichDeparting central London seamlessly, (and oblivious to the myriad of logistical challenges that running international departures from a central London location on Marathon Day presented to the Ex Events team ahead of the event) delegates all arrived in good time for their flights (no mean feat!) smiling at the end of a fun filled successful events programme full of fantastic photo opportunities and memories.It was great privilege for Ex Events to host this program and to utilise the full range of services that we offer.

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, intelligent and highly motivated individual to join us for an initial 3 month period. We are an established Event Management Company based in the City working for a range of corporate clients delivering conferences, parties, bespoke events and team building days. You will be supporting the Account Managers working on existing and new projects and will gain experience in the following areas:-· Venue sourcing and negotiation
· Preparation of proposals
· Researching new clients and establishing contacts
· Maintaining and developing the existing database
· Maintaining and promoting the companies websites
· Occasional on site event support
· General office dutiesQualificationsKey Requirements:- Recently finished or close to the end of a relevant degree

Now in its 12th year, Master Investor is regarded as the No.1 investor show in the UK. This years show, held at The Business Design Centre, was once again a standout success bringing together 2500+ dedicated investors. Highlights from the day included enthralling Mainstage presentations from Terry Smith, Richard Reed and audience favourite Jim Mellon, as well as fascinating presentations from Evil Knievil, Professor Sir John Bell and Paul Kavanagh. Due to its success in 2013 we saw the return of The Rising Stars Stage where visitors were able to see companies put themselves in the spotlight and prove that they are a good investment opportunity. The show floor remained packed out as conversation flowed between exhibitors and attendees and into the ever busy networking zone throughout the day.
Having successfully delivered 50+ events in December for over 15000 guests it proved to be our busiest festive season to date. Amidst all the festive fun we also managed the London Trauma Conference for 4 days at the lovely Royal Geographical Society. And to top everything we also managed to move offices to our new home in New Broad Street, just a short walk from so many stunning City venues.

Christmas 2012 With just a few days to go before the Christmas break it’s been a great season of parties for the team at Ex and all their guests. We’ve run over 40 events for more than 30 different clients playing host to almost 10,000 guests over the Christmas period.
Our Clients celebrated Christmas in style in venues ranging from The Roundhouse to the Silver Sturgeon and from Club 10 to Blackall Studios. The parties, as always, have received great reviews.

HBAA Forum Ex were proud to host a workshop session at the recent HBAA Forum 2012 at The Radisson Blu Stansted. Entitled ‘Delivering a Communication to enthuse, emote and engage – affecting people in the right way’, the session gave a fun but insightful taste of our new Communication Development Sessions.As an introduction to our new Communicate Development Sessions, Matt Burgess and Tim Lewis ran a workshop on modifying behaviour to members of The HBAA at their Annual Forum. Combining the pairs acting and training skills with Ex’s years of industry expertise, the pair demonstrated the toolkit required to ensure that your team puts across their message in a way that is enthusiastic, energised and engaging. We were proud to host a stunning joint evening with Workham Hotels at The Venue @ Shoreditch Village on Wednesday 16th May. Over 250 people visited the big top to get a taste of what the quirky space has to offer. The venue looked amazing and immediate feedback from those who visited was universally upbeat. 15 exhibitors including Hotels, Tourist Boards, our own GPS Challenge and Feeding The Fish, who performed a spectacular light performance, made the evening informative as well as a great networking opportunity. Smart catering provided the food and drink; excelling as always with a delicious choice of canapés and bowl food.
